On Memorial Day a wreath is laid at the “Tomb of the unknow soldier.” To remember the men and women who died in war while serving their country.
The wars that America has fought to preserve the freedom and liberty all Americans enjoy today.
June 6th D-Day the day the allies including Americans landed on the beaches of Normandy.
The 4th of July a day Americans celebrate their Independence.
What if
One extracted DNA from all those entered in the tomb of the unknown soldier? Wit before you get all huffy its’ been partially done already. The body representing the Vietnam war has been identified!
There isn’t a body from that war and from then on,
Desecration you argue between clenched teeth. That’s’ been done already by archeologists digging up tombs and old graveyards, oh such sacrilege!
So, what if
The DNA showed that all those entombed were “heaven forbid!” All Indians, or blacks, Chinese, Mexicans, Jewish, Germans, or maybe Russian?
Yea what if.
But native tribes don’t even accept DNA analysis as proof of tribal membership.
Politicians aside.
What if
D-Day was in celebration of natives repulsing foreign invaders?
What if?
What if the fourth wasn’t about independence from English tyranny?
What if Europeans hadn’t sailed across the Big Pond?
What if
Europeans, Muslims, Africans, colonists-Americans, natives hadn’t adopted the practice of enslaving people?
What if
We could overlook color, race, the past and come to the supper table together?
What if
we realized we were created and there is only one creator?
What if
we really are brothers and sisters?
What if
we could “love our neighbors as we love ourselves?”
What if
there were no races and no democrats or republicans?
What if
there was only one generic race?
What if there is only one Great Spirit that cared and resided in and with us?
What if?
